Snap Bag

Prep work prior to class:
1. Press fabric using sizing spray
2. Cut 2 – 4″ squares

What you will need:
• 1 Fat Quarter for outside fabric
• 1 Fat Quarter of Fusible fleece
• 1 Fat Quarter for prairie points and lining
• Matching fabric thread, bobbin thread can be a different color and weight
• Scissors for cutting metal
• Black electrical tape
• Flat straight pins
• Scissors for cutting fabric
• Sewing machine, foot, power, and all sewing accessories
• ¼” sewing foot with a guide or 5” Seam Gauge and 5” Guide by Ideal
• Stitch in the ditch sewing foot
• Basic sewing foot, usually designated as 1 or A or 0
• Teflon pressing mat or something comparable
• Iron and wool pressing mat or something comparable
• Rotary cutter and Rotary cutting mat
• 2 rulers about 4” x 13” and 8” x 12”
• 1 pressing ruler by Clover
• Fabric pen by Fixion
• 2-metal tape measure strips no wider than 1” (3/4” width is recommended) for:
   —–small bag 5 ½” length, or
   —–medium 7 ½” length, or
   —–large 9 ½” length
