Christmas Tree Skirt
Pattern for the bargello style tree skirt is NOT included in the price of the class. You must purchase that pattern separately.
Prep-work prior to class:
- Press all fabric with Best Press or favorite sizing.
- For Bargello style only - cut your fabrics according to pattern pieces A-I in each color and label (pg. 1 of instructions).
- What you will need to make either project:

- June Taylor's Quilt As You Go Tree Skirt Pattern, Batting, and template kit.
- Spray Basting spray
- Pins
- Walking Foot (recommended)
- Large cutting mat
- Rotary cutter
- Sewing machine in good working order
- For the Solid wedge skirt
- 1/2 yd of 4-8 fabrics
- 2/3 yd yds for bias binding (or about 5 yd pre-made 2 1/2" bias tape)
- 1 1/4 yds backing fabric
- For Bargello Style skirt
- Shabby Fabrics Bargello Tree Skirt Pattern (not included in class price)
- 1/4 yd of four red fabrics
- !/4 yd of four green fabrics
- 2/3 yd of four white fabrics
- 2/3 yd fabric for binding
- 1 1/4 yd backing
| Requirements: | You must be able to sew consistent 1/4" seams, be able to cut fabric accurately using cutting mat, rotary cutter, and rulers, and have a good working knowledge of your sewing machine. |
