MSB Staff Private Class #2
Pre-Class Monday August 31st
Class date - Sept. 7th, 14th, and 21st (after BOM)
Prep-work prior to class:
- Quilt main fabric, foam batting, and lining together
- Use cutting layout guide to cut quilted fabrics (pg. 3). Will discuss options in pre-class on Aug. 31st
- Copy label page (pg. 12)
- Copy circle template A pg.11
- Cut and label all pieces as directed on cutting layout and label with labels provided (labels on page 12)
- Prepare your bias binding on pg. 3 (I will show you a helpful tip during pre-class)
What you will need to make this bag:
- Supplies/hardware listed on pattern
- Sewing Tools needed:
- Get Out of Town pattern
- Stiletto
- Wonder clips
- Denim needles (100/16)
- Removable fabric markers/chalk pens
- Zipper foot (recommended)
- Walking Foot (recommended for when you are quilting your layers)
- Sewing machine, cutting mat, rotary cutter, rulers, pins, seam ripper, etc.
