Embroidery Class 1
I'll show you several different ways to make these tiles. I'll supply the stabilizers. You supply the fabrics, thread and your normal tools.
- Embroidery Hoop large enough for a 5" x 5" design
- Background fabric - 4 pieces at least 8" square
- Green leaves - 4 pieces at least 6" square
- Flower Petals - 4 pieces at least 4" square
- Flower center - 4 pieces at least 2" square
- Embroidery threads to match your fabrics
- Bobbin thread - 60 weight, a light color would be best.
- Embroidery scissors, fabric scissors (curved or duckbill)
- A ruler so you can square your squares to 6 1/2"
- Rotary cutter
- Small iron that will fit inside your hoop - if you have one. I will have mine.
