Autumn Leaves Door Banner
For this class you will need the following:
- Door Banner Kit (included in the cost of class)
- 24" x WOF backing fabric
- 24" x WOF batting of your choice (I used fusible fleece but cotton quilt batting or a firm interfacing will also work)
Bring to class:
- Sewing machine in good working order
- Small cutting mat, rotary cutter, acrylic rulers (the classroom has mats and rulers to use if needed)
- Thread, bobbins, pins, needles, seam ripper, scissors
- Marking pen/pencil
- Walking foot - optional
- Pressing mat and small iron - optional
PRIOR TO CLASS
- Cut your fabrics as directed on page 1.
- Your kit includes a charm pack with 42- 5" squares. You will only need to cut about 24 of those to make the 96- 2 1/2" squares needed for this project. (Piece A)
- Only cut 3 strips of the red plaid for the binding (2 1/2" x WOF)

| Skill Details: | You must be able to sew consistent 1/4" seams, be able to cut fabric accurately using cutting mat, rotary cutter, and rulers, and have a good working knowledge of your sewing machine. |
