QAYG Lap Quilt
During this class you will how to make a lap size quilt using the quilt as you go method.

| Skill Details: | Know how to use your sewing machine, rotary cutter, rotary ruler and have a quarter inch foot. |
| Requirements: | Materials of your choosing. Backing, batting, materials for the top, thread to match your backing fabric and thread to quilt with. These are the fabrics you will need for each set of four blocks that we will be making. 1. Rail Fence Block - Three (3) different colors of fabric 1/8 yard of each. Width of Fabric. 2. Slice and Dice Block - Four (4) ten (10) inch squares of different colors. 3. Nine Patch Block - Two (2) 1/4 yard cuts of different fabrics. Width of Fabric. 4. String Quilt - Four (4) 2 1/2 inch strips of different colors.Width of Fabric. 5. Batting - 16 squares of 7.5 inches each. 6. Backing Fabric - 16 squares of 9.5 inches each. 7. Walking foot Suggestion: Do not use directional fabric as I have done. |
