Pre-class work:
Press fabric with sizing spray
Cut binding to either 2 1/4" or 2 1/2" wide, your preference
Cut handles from binding fabric 2@ 4”x14”
Materials Required:
21" x 28" Main fabric (preshrunk) for caddy body - MF
21" x 28" Heat Resistant Ironing Board Fabric - HR (included)
21" x 28" (2) layers of Insul-Bright (preferred) or (2) layers of Cotton batting pieces (preshrunk) OR (1) layer of Warm Tater
(2) 1" or larger buttons (shank buttons best)
9" of 1/4" wide elastic
1/4 yard fabric to make about 90" of binding. Usually cut 2 1/4" to 2 1/2" wide and handles 2@ 4”x14”
Tools needed:
* Scissors, pins, rotary cutter, ruler + mat, mechanical lead pencil, eraser
* A rotary ruler 7" or 8" wide is helpful for marking
