Sudoku Quilt

Prep work prior to class:
1. Press fabric using sizing spray
2. Cut 9 of each color into 4 1/2 squares (9 colors for a total of 81 squares)

What you will need for day 1:

Nine (9) assorted prints/textures (blocks) – 1 fat quarter for each color
Black print (sashing, border, binding) – 1 3/8 yards
Black texture (sashing, border) – 3/8 yards
Backing – 2 7/8 yards
Batting (wool or 80/20 is recommended)
Sewing machine, foot control, power cord, and sewing accessories (pins, scissors, seam ripper, etc.)
Iron and pressing mat
Rotary cutter and cutting mat
¼” sewing foot
Stitch in the ditch sewing foot

Day 2 is completing the quilt:
Adding sashings, borders, sandwiching (top, batting, backing), discussion on quilting the sandwich, and then adding the binding
