Prep work prior to class:
1. Press fabric using sizing spray. DO NOT PRE WASH PANELS
2. Hang fabric on skirt or trouser hanger for transport (recommended)
Fabric and Misc. Requirements:
Kaleidoscope Quilt
- 6 IDENTICAL fabric panels (see recommendation list at store)
- 1 yd interior border fabric
- 1 1/2 yd exterior border fabric
- Rotary cutter with a new blade
- Rotary cutting mat (24″ x 36″)
- Small iron and pressing mat
- Sewing machine and accessories, 1/4″ foot with guide
- 60 degree Equilateral Triangle Ruler (REQUIRED)
- flat head pins
- 6" x 24" ruler

| Skill Level: | Intermediate |
| Skill Details: | Day 1 is pressing, stacking, aligning fabric, cutting strips, and cutting hexagons. May start to sew hexagons together, then finish up at home. Day 2 is assembling the items onto a design wall, determining color placement, and sewing the rows. And finally, adding borders if time allows. |
| Requirements: | Must have a 60 degree equilateral triangle ruler. |
