Prep work prior to class:
1. Press fabric using sizing spray
2. Cut 22 – 4 1/2″ squares or 5″ charm pack will work too

What you will need:
• Five various fabrics – cut 4 ½” squares (total of 22 squares needed) or use 5″ squares from a charm pack (requires additional lining and interfacing)
• Lining and pockets – ½ yard
• Pellon Fusible Fleece or Fusible Apparel Interfacing – fat quarter
• Batting – 1 piece about 18” x 30” or 20″ x 33″ for charm pack size
• Straps – 2 pieces each (3” x 24” or however long you want to make the straps)
• Straps batting (or foam batting) – 2 pieces each (1” x 24” or however long your straps will be)
• Strap webbing (if you choose to use cotton batting) – 2 pieces each (1” x 24” or however long your straps will be)
• Button 1”
• Braided cord for button latch (6”) or thick ponytail rubber band
• Sewing machine, foot control, power cord, and sewing accessories (pins, scissors, heavy needle, etc.)
• Iron and pressing mat (supplied in class)
• ¼” sewing foot
• Stitch in the ditch sewing foot
