Prairie Point Hot Pad-Square

Prep work prior to class:
1. Press fabric using sizing spray
2. Cut 5 – 3” squares
3. Cut 8 – 3 ½” squares
4. Cut 8 – 4” squares
5. Cut 4 – 4 ½” squares focus fabric
6. Cut 4 – 5 ¼” squares same focus fabric

What you will need prior to class:
• 4 fabrics 1/8 yard each (preferred) or 8 fat quarters-2 of each color
• 1 fat quarter for back and bias binding
• 8” x 8” muslin
• 8” x 8” Insul-Bright batting
• Fabric marking pen
• Clover Hold-It Precision Stiletto
• Rulers
• Rotary cutter and mat
• Size 90 and 100 sewing machine needle
• ¼” and Stitch-in-the-ditch sewing machine feet
• Wonder clips
• Sewing machine, hand needle, thread, scissors, seam ripper, etc
